Our Mission 

Incarcerated lives Matter VA doesn't just mean that someone is being housed in jail/prison. The mission of Incarcerated Lives Matter VA is to help people rise above whichever type of incarceration they find themselves faced with. Whether it be domestic violence victims, mental health issues, depression/ PTSD, Addiction, lack of job training/education, single-parent households, homelessness, or food insecurities. These are all forms of incarceration. We plan to support several communities all around Virginia with transitional housing, job training, employment, and counseling. As well as programs that teach parenting skills, walking our newly released through steps to reunite with family in a healthy manner after such long periods of separation. It is our obligation and intention to instill imagination into the youth again.
